From when I was a little kid, I loved and identified with Ariel from Disney’s Little Mermaid. So the first Disney princess I had to cosplay was obviously Ariel.

Before The Force Awakens came out, I decided to cosplay Rey. Why? Well her name is similar to mine, I guess. And she’s a main character in the Star Wars franchise - always a good reason. It just seemed fun, I guess.

Lord of the Rings is awesome, and I’ve always wanted to be an elf, but I’m really more the stature of a hobbit… So I just made up my own elf. If she’s fictional, who cares if I’m not tall enough?

Let’s be honest: female Han Solo is just such a cool idea.
